The Golden Triangle Organization

The Golden Triangle was established the in the 1980’s by three business professionals whose mission and vision was to unite select business leaders from the three major cites of the Tampa Bay area (Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Tampa) to network and foster peace, goodwill and cooperation toward common fellowship among the three business communities.  The non-profit civic organization was established and today still maintains the same initiatives.

 The Golden Triangle organization maintains 99 members, a third from each respective area (Clearwater, St Petersburg, Tampa) This exclusive group of people continues to enhance the organization and recruits new members on an annual basis and throughout the year based on availability. A potential member must be sponsored by an existing member and interviewed by the Board of Directors. We limit members in specific sectors, so we do not have several in the same industry. No company can have more than two memberships and no public official holding office is eligible until out of office. We are a non-political organization and do not endorse candidates.

Once accepted, you will be required to pay annual dues which cover all expenses that you participate in. We hold four meetings a year which are strictly social in nature. One annual (member only) meeting and three other meetings held in each city by rotation and spouses are welcome to those meetings. We also host a weekend retreat every other year (additional cost) and host other events throughout the year in one of the three different cities.

We respect the privacy of our members, and do not publicly promote the organization. A confidential directory is used for contact only among members and information is limited to each member’s discretion.

                All locations provide a high-end experience and highlight the particular cities unique venues.  

• Annual Meeting Members-Only: A gathering exclusively for members to discuss organizational matters.
• Three Additional Meetings: Held at various locations throughout the year, where spouses or significant others are welcome.
• Retreats and Functions: Enjoy retreats (every other year) and numerous social functions that foster camaraderie and collaboration among members.

Cost and Benefits

• Annual Membership Fee: Covers all meetings, events, activities, food, and beverages.
• Additional Costs: Retreats incur an extra fee every other year.
